You are invited to compete for more than $100,000 in cash prizes, summer program scholarships, and graduate program scholarships at Classical Singer magazine’s first annual University Vocal Competition. Summer programs offering scholarships include AIMS in Graz, American Singers” Opera Project, Bel Canto Institute, Italian Operatic Experience, Songfest, Underworld Productions Resident Artist Program, and Windswept Music Workshop.
You’ll also have access to more than 60 vocal programs at the College Expo recruiting fair, free for all Competition participants. Many of
these schools, including Colorado State University, North Park University, and UCLA, will be offering Graduate Program Scholarships to Competition winners.
The University Vocal Competition will be May 29–31 in Chicago at the Classical Singer Convention ’09, held at the Westin O’Hare Hotel.

If you are not between the ages of 18 and 25, other Convention events for you might include the Professional Track masterclasses and
